Tian Tan Buddha or also known as Big Buddha faces north towards Mainland China where it sits 34 metres high(including the base) and the statue actually cost HK$60 million! We climbed 268 steps for a closer look at this remarkable statue while enjoying sweeping mountains and sea views that can be seen from its' base.
