Used to admire those scenes in Chinese TVB drama where they have porridge with Yoo Tiau for breakfast early in the morning without failing. Now with I Love Yoo!, we as Malaysians can also have those a-like-moments too. We went to try out the branch located in Gurney Plaza.
The shop is simple and neatly setup with wooden tables and stools. Soya Drink (Cold) - RM 2.90 each
Tau Fu Fah - RM 3.20 per bowl.
The Tau Fu is very smooth.
Porridge - RM 2.90 each
Yoo Tiau (Yau Char Kuai) - RM 1.50 each
Love to eat Yoo Tiau dipped with porridge.
Ham Chin Peng - RM 1.50 each
Butterfly Bun - RM 1.50 each
In the end, we managed to finish all up but left with Ham Chin Peng and Butterfly Bun. Packed and took away as snacks for the noon after a light shopping in Gurney Plaza.

Pan Mee lover? You should check this out if by any chance you are in Ipoh. (Complete address at the end of the post)
They also served 'Tong Sui' but only on selected days. Lucky enough they served 'Black Glutinous Rice' that noon, my favorite 'Hak Loh Mai'.
Peking Dumpling.
Yong Tau Foo. Big and juicy.
Dry Curry Chicken Pan Mee.
Ginger Duck Pan Mee.
Soup Pan Mee with no ajinomoto in the soup perhaps as I don't suffer from thirst even though I finished the whole bowl of soup and yes, am serious.
Worth trying and will definitely be back again. A picture of my forever young parents.

Heavy rain with strong wind on a Saturday morning ain't a good start of the day.
After about 3 hours of pouring rain, finally it stopped. Off to Butterworth for food. Shin Ki Xiang Restaurant, Bak Kut Teh for our brunch. (Complete address at the end of the post)
Not only they served Bak Kut Teh here but also Hat Yai Thai cuisine.
Real hot Bak Kut Teh soup after the morning heavy rain is just right. We stressed not to have any internal organs nor intestines in the Bak Kut Teh.
Done with hot food, all warmed up and off to Aeon Bandar Perda for window shopping. We then stopped by at Starbucks for a cup of Frappucino Grean Tea with Red Bean.
Could be a rainy day as stomach urged for food earlier than usual. Off to New Parkway Enterprise Restaurant then. (Complete address at the end of the post)
Here, we had Sizzling Hot Claypot Kung Pou Bullfrog with Porridge. Spicy and hot, lovin' it.
Enough of food for the day, headed over to Juru, Auto City for a light walk and there were the newly launched Volkswagen Beetle 1.2L TSI, 2-door coupe with a top speed of 180kph powered by a 4-cylinder petrol engine show car. Priced at RM 139,888 and the exterior outlook as usual, still preserve the classic look of Beetle.
Before we called it a day, here's a photo of her with me Apatosaurus.

Used to come here for family dinner quite often. Have been long since the last visit (~2 years). Just approximate of ~30mins drive from home. Was an early dinner that day (~5 in the evening)
There are indoor and outdoor seatings available for your preference. Indoor seatings are equipped with air-conditioners while outdoor seatings are equipped with big fans and natural wind. That day, we ordered 'Sheng Yu', made to 2 dishes (Sheng Yu in Soup and Kung Pau Sheng Yu), Minced Pork Beancurd and Ginger Chicken. Four dishes all together for parents and myself.
The Sheng Yu is highly recommended, really nice and delicious. The portion were quite big for all dishes and we managed to finish'em all up happily and satisfied.

Happy Independence Day Malaysia! Obviously a public holiday, went back hometown after work and had precious time well-spent with parents. Decided to give a try on the newly opened Dragon-i at Station 18's Aeon. We went around lunch time and gosh packed with people, possibly opened not long ago here and people wanted to try that out as well.
Sugar Cane with Water Chestnut.
Beijing Steamed Meat Dumplings.
Szechuan "Dan Dan" La Mian in Hot & Sour Soup with Deep-fried Pork Ribs.
La Mian with Braised Pork Ribs.
La Mian with Minced Meat and Mushrooms in Spicy Sauce.
Vanilla Sago Cream with Mixed Fruit.
The overall food were good but yet, we still somehow prefer the branch in Gurney Plaza in terms of portion and taste. Anyway, is good to have the first Dragon-i in Ipoh especially for La-Mian fans. Signing off now with a picture of my forever hero and heroine.
