I like to eat and I love the diversity of foods. Food, to me, is always about cooking and eating with those you love and care for. Food should be fun! If you are craving for morning/noon Nasi Lemak in Bukit Mertajam, I would recommend Nasi Lemak at Lau Yu Coffee Shop.

Sticking with your family is what makes it a family. There's nothing I value more than the closeness of friends and family, a smile as I pass someone on the street.

Food is our common ground, a universal experience. You don't need a silver fork to eat good food. If you're looking for a good morning Ipoh Nasi Lemak, I think you should give a try at Sweet and Tasty Food Court (near Ipoh Parade). Don't worry the address is at the end of the post. Yes, it's at a food court, and not some fancy place that you may thought it would be.

Komtar Walk - This place has changed a lot compared to a few years back where the shops were limited, mostly not rented out which was kind-of-dead, now rebrand and renovated, most shops are now operating, attracting more people to chill around especially in the evening. Early dinner that day at Komtar Walk's G Western Cuisine, opens at 4 p.m till late 2 a.m daily (including public holidays) with pretty nice environment.
We had creamy mushroom soup served with garlic bread, Smoked BBQ chicken (Grilled chicken served with mango salsa, french-fries and smoked barbecue sauce) and Japanese-style Pan-fried Chicken (Served with curry sauce, french-fries, coleslaw salad and chopped parsley).
Managed to also quick-snapped some photos to keep as memory, because whenever I think of the past, it brings back so many memories. Yes, cut the crap and you can also visit G Western Cuisine's FB page here.

A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality. Very little is needed to make a happy life, it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking. If you want to be happy, be. H.C.V.D.D.
It have been ages since the last visit, probably after our university time, have not changed much, still operating, still having the same macho romantic name - candle light restaurant, used to be the place for weekend lunch/dinner back then whenever we drop by at Prangin Mall, back and forth, by public transport, even before Rapid exist, time really flies but memories remained fresh.

As usual, it's always a great catch-up time spent with Austin, though we rarely meet up, like 4 months once or probably longer, but the topics that we have are endless. Yellow Lips Cafe, quite a new cafe (~1 month), a simple cafe with friendly staffs, food wise not bad, we had Salmon Shake Don and Smoke Duck Don with 90 Coffee Review as well as 92 Coffee Review (both without milk), it's better to make a reservation instead of direct-walk in as the cafe is not very spacious, pretty compact, parking around that area is fine as we were still able to locate a few parking slots ~7pm on a Friday, green parking zone. Visit their Facebook page here.

The evening sings in a voice of amber, the dawn is surely coming. Think in the morning, act in the noon, eat in the evening, sleep in the night.
Weirdo enough to have Penang Chendul in Ipoh right? Haahaahaa.. .. .. It was indeed a great quick-catch-up-session with cousins. Also, managed to shots some mini-selfie photos.
Chendul Original - A timeless Malaysian dessert of shaved ice dessert with soft-fresh pandan-flavoured palm floor noodles immersed in light coconut milk, sweetened by gula melaka and kidney beans thoroughly boiled in 4 hours. A must try for you to know why it's become famous. (Extracted from Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul)

Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced. The most important thing in life is to enjoy your life, to be happy, it's all that matters.
When I go to sleep at night, I am sleeping only 3% and 97% I am thinking thousands of whys, ifs and hows. Don't loss hope you never know what tomorrow will bring.
If you want to see the sunshine, you have to weather the storm. The more violent the storm, the quicker it passes.
I always wonder why birds choose to stay at the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth, then I ask myself the same question.
You can never put too much pork in your mouth as far as I'm concerned. My all-time favourite Pork Noodle Soup in Ipoh - Restoran Two Six. Here, you can either order all/most of the pig parts or picking only a few of the parts that you like to have with your noodle soup, but for me, I only order minced pork. Also, the Ipoh White Coffee here is pretty good too.

Ipoh Tong Sui Kai (糖水街) a.k.a Dessert Street is the place where you can fix your dessert temptation in the evening and night. Have been ages since the last visit and business seems to be still as good as the past from the crowd we saw. Ordered some kuih-muih and tong-sui for our Saturday-Night-Fever-Dessert.

Seeking desperately for good curry-mee in Ipoh? Look no further, Yee Fatt is the place that all you need. I personally seldom takes curry especially in the morning. Ipoh is getting loaded with more cafes these days ranging from quick friends' meet-up to formal family gathering. Not to left out far behind the society trend, we had a chance to opt for a light high-tea in Everyday Lifestyle Cafe. This place is actually a combination of merchandise store and lifestyle cafe specialising in Western cuisine.
We had Dark Lady Chocolate (RM14.80), Smoked Duck Quiche (RM16.80), Hot Latte (RM10.80) and Hot Cappuccino (RM10.80). A little overpriced for the portion but overall is worth-to-try.
