GoPro : Morning Ipoh Nasi Lemak at Sweet and Tasty Food Court, Ipoh

Food is our common ground, a universal experience. You don't need a silver fork to eat good food. If you're looking for a good morning Ipoh Nasi Lemak, I think you should give a try at Sweet and Tasty Food Court (near Ipoh Parade). Don't worry the address is at the end of the post. Yes, it's at a food court, and not some fancy place that you may thought it would be.

15.8.15 : G Western Cuisine, Komtar Walk, Penang

Komtar Walk - This place has changed a lot compared to a few years back where the shops were limited, mostly not rented out which was kind-of-dead, now rebrand and renovated, most shops are now operating, attracting more people to chill around especially in the evening. Early dinner that day at Komtar Walk's G Western Cuisine, opens at 4 p.m till late 2 a.m daily (including public holidays) with pretty nice environment.

We had creamy mushroom soup served with garlic bread, Smoked BBQ chicken (Grilled chicken served with mango salsa, french-fries and smoked barbecue sauce) and Japanese-style Pan-fried Chicken (Served with curry sauce, french-fries, coleslaw salad and chopped parsley).

Managed to also quick-snapped some photos to keep as memory, because whenever I think of the past, it brings back so many memories. Yes, cut the crap and you can also visit G Western Cuisine's FB page here.

15.08.15 : Candle Light Restaurant, Prangin Mall, Penang

It have been ages since the last visit, probably after our university time, have not changed much, still operating, still having the same macho romantic name - candle light restaurant, used to be the place for weekend lunch/dinner back then whenever we drop by at Prangin Mall, back and forth, by public transport, even before Rapid exist, time really flies but memories remained fresh.

14.08.15 : Yellow Lips Cafe, Penang

As usual, it's always a great catch-up time spent with Austin, though we rarely meet up, like 4 months once or probably longer, but the topics that we have are endless. Yellow Lips Cafe, quite a new cafe (~1 month), a simple cafe with friendly staffs, food wise not bad, we had Salmon Shake Don and Smoke Duck Don with 90 Coffee Review as well as 92 Coffee Review (both without milk), it's better to make a reservation instead of direct-walk in as the cafe is not very spacious, pretty compact, parking around that area is fine as we were still able to locate a few parking slots ~7pm on a Friday, green parking zone. Weirdo enough to have Penang Chendul in Ipoh right? Haahaahaa.. .. .. It was indeed a great quick-catch-up-session with cousins. Also, managed to shots some mini-selfie photos.
Chendul Original - A timeless Malaysian dessert of shaved ice dessert with soft-fresh pandan-flavoured palm floor noodles immersed in light coconut milk, sweetened by gula melaka and kidney beans thoroughly boiled in 4 hours.
